Melanie and Sarah opened for business in January 2017, and provide a warm and friendly environment for dogs big or small, confident or nervous, whether it is their first grooming session or they have experienced plenty before.
We are qualified to City and Guilds Level 3 in dog grooming and also have animal first aid training.
We work together to take care of all dogs who visit us, particularly those who have hip and back problems.
We welcome excitable puppies and those who move a bit slower and are more advanced in years.
We offer two basic options:
Wash and Go - bath, hand dry, nails only. This is proving popular where breeds do not require a full groom, but the owners appreciate a sweet smelling dog!
Full Groom - for the complete experience, including a bath, hand dry, nails, clip/scissor to breed standard or to customer requirements.
We also offer hand stripping, which is a method of removing dead hair from the coat leaving a dense, soft undercoat.
The products we use are from the UK with minimum chemicals included.
No drying cabinets used.
We are based in a quiet location with plenty of parking available, at the Marina at the Pike and Eel Hotel in Needingworth, about 2 miles from St Ives.
We can also offer a pick-up and return service within a 5 mile radius.
